About LIA

The AI Music Assistant for Ableton Live

What is LIA?

An AI music assistant for producers on any DAW

LIA, Live Intelligent Assistant, is an AI music assistant for music producers. Real-time, multilingual, designed to help producers, not replace them. Built by Jacopo Di Loreto, a solo founder based in Abruzzo, Italy.

Today LIA controls Ableton Live on macOS and Windows through the LIA Bridge, with Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Pro Tools and more on the waitlist. Instead of clicking through menus, you describe what you want in plain language or with your voice, and LIA creates editable MIDI, beat ideas, session actions and mix suggestions while you stay in creative control.

LIA understands any language. The interface is available in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

How it works

From idea to editable MIDI

  1. 01

    Connect the Bridge

Open Ableton Live and connect the LIA Bridge.

  2. 02

    Ask LIA

Type or speak what you want to create.

  3. 03

    Refine

LIA understands your intent and executes supported commands directly in Ableton Live. Hear the result immediately and refine with follow-up commands.

The founder

Built by a solo founder

LIA was created by Jacopo Di Loreto, a developer from Italy driven by a lifelong passion for electronic music and technology. LIA was born from a simple idea: producers should spend their time making music, not navigating software.

Our philosophy

It generates. You stay in control.

LIA generates MIDI, beat ideas, and starting points directly in your session, and keeps every note editable. It is built to amplify your creativity, not replace it. The sounds, the arrangement, and the final decisions stay yours. LIA just makes getting there faster.
