Product Snapshot

LIA is an AI assistant for Ableton Live on macOS. It connects through a lightweight local bridge and turns natural language into editable MIDI, track actions, mix suggestions, and session changes inside Ableton.

LIA is an assistant, not a generator. It keeps the work in your session so every note, clip, track, and decision stays editable. You stay in creative control instead of receiving a finished black-box audio file.

Logic Pro, FL Studio, Cubase, Pro Tools, and other DAWs are roadmap and waitlist targets. They are not current live integrations. Join the waitlist if you want updates for those workflows.

Use LIA from your browser while Ableton Live runs on your Mac. Type or speak in natural language, then keep shaping the result inside Ableton without replacing your craft.

FAQ

What does LIA stand for?

LIA stands for Live Intelligent Assistant. “Live” because LIA works in real-time inside your DAW session. “Intelligent” because it understands natural language in 10+ languages. “Assistant” (not generator) because LIA helps you produce, it doesn’t replace you.

Is LIA an AI music generator?

No. LIA is an assistant, not a generator. It does not spit out finished audio files. It controls your DAW in real time so every MIDI note, track, and effect stays fully editable inside your session. You keep full creative control.

How does LIA work?

You type a command in the chat like “create a 4-track beat at 130 BPM” or “add reverb to the vocals”. LIA understands your request and sends the commands directly to your DAW. A lightweight bridge app on your computer connects LIA to your DAW.

Which DAWs does LIA support?

Ableton Live is fully supported right now. FL Studio, Logic Pro, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper, Bitwig, and Reason are in development.

Can LIA generate MIDI?

Yes. You can ask LIA to generate MIDI patterns, melodies, chord progressions, and drum patterns directly inside your DAW. You can then edit and customize everything.

Do I need music production experience?

No. LIA is designed for producers of all levels. Beginners can describe what they want in plain language. Experienced producers can use detailed technical commands.

Can I control my DAW from my phone?

Yes. With the Pro plan and above, you can connect to your DAW remotely from any device: phone, tablet, or another computer. You can also use the Telegram bot.

What languages does LIA support?

LIA understands any language. The interface is available in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

Is AI-generated music copyrightable?

LIA doesn’t generate music. It assists you in creating it. Your compositions, MIDI, and audio are 100% yours. You own everything you create with LIA.

Will AI replace music producers?

No. AI is a tool, like a synthesizer or a drum machine. LIA makes you faster, not replaceable. The creative decisions are always yours.

How is LIA different from ChatGPT or Suno?

ChatGPT can talk about music but can’t touch your DAW. Suno generates audio files. LIA is different. It connects directly to your DAW and executes real commands in real time. It’s an assistant inside your studio, not a text chatbot or audio generator.

Is LIA free?

Yes, there’s a free plan with daily usage included. Paid plans start at €24.99/month for more usage and features.

How is LIA different from open-source MCP tools or AbletonGPT?

LIA is a complete product, not an open-source project. You don't need Python, a terminal, or any technical setup. Just open your browser and start producing. Plus, LIA works in any language and from any device, including your phone and Telegram.

Do I need to install plugins or software?

No plugins, no Python, no config files. LIA works from your browser. A lightweight bridge app connects to your DAW on your computer, and that's it. You can even control your DAW remotely from your phone.

How many features does LIA have?

LIA has over 100 features across mixing, EQ, sound design, MIDI generation, track management, automation, remote control, voice commands, and multi-language support. New features are added regularly.
